This would be disasterous to me because I have no family at all, I was brought up in children’s homes from the age of 4yrs till I was kicked out a 16yrs without any skills to live. I have yet to hear whether or not I am to remain in the support group. Without any money I won’t be able to control my diabetes and I Will Die as a result. where are our human rights? This government is starting to resemble the Nazis’ and it terrifies and deeply saddens me!!!!

Is this comking into effect from October or is it already in effect now?

For ESA it’s October. However, there is anecdotal evidence that some Offices have tried to implement this early for ESA. However, it is stated clearly up on the DWP site that the implementation date for ESA is October, I rang their press Office and got this clarified too

A politics that is not sensitive to the concerns and circumstances of people’s lives, a politics that does not speak to and include people, is an intellectually arrogant politics that deserves to fail. Paul Wellstone

Politics is about the improvement of people’s lives. It’s about advancing the cause of peace and justice in our country and the world. Politics is about doing well for the people. Paul Wellstone
