Sale of small council homes condemning thousands to bedroom tax

Last Updated: March 7, 2014By

I wanted to write an article about this but time is beating me. Instead I’ll restrict myself to the obvious question: If the Tories and Liberal Democrats were as keen to rehouse people – in accommodation of the right size – as they claimed they were, why were they selling it off?

Surely those of us (not me, my daughter that are trying to provide for our children..should be free now?? Does not the case prove that those of us trying to make a family life must not be hit upon??

they sold off 1 bed council flats in london -eg sold for 30k, right to buy – then resold for 300k, now worth 600k; it’s to feed the demand from the Chinese, who are paying well over the odds as investment, because in China the state takes your property when you die. Plus bankers are feeding a massive credit bubble in China as well as UK govt selling bonds to Chinese then using property market sales as a way of balance of payments. The British are thrown under the bus as not wanted, collateral damage.

It’s short term planning by government ministers who couldn’t plan a booze up in a brewery. We are controlled totally by incompetent buffoons who only have two real objectives, 1. To secure their own careers and increase personal wealth. 2. To control the population by any means possible to secure 1.
They need outing; we the public need and must get a greater degree of control over these clowns; we need to have control over money, foreign aid, NHS, and we must be able to get rid by vote of an MP who is lying, cheating or causing unnecessary distress to the public. We need to get rid of the five year Parlimentary term. And we must ensure that any government which lies and fails to honour its manifesto is forced to resign.
