RTU (our old Returned To Unit friend Iain Duncan Smith) has been telling porkies about the savings he has made on Housing Benefit, and the Guardian has been completely taken in by them – oh dear.
More interesting for some Vox Political readers may be the huge rise in the sickness benefit bill that Mr… Smith says he has cut, and the question of the claimed cut of £25 billion in benefit expenditure that simply has not happened.
More lies from Iain Duncan Smith are not a surprise. We should not allow them to happen, though.
