UKIP’s battle against free speech: Trying to censor a blank book
Many of you may have seen this already, and it is likely that Vox Political has mentioned it in passing: UKIP members have tried to prevent the sale of a book entitled The Wit and Wisdom of Nigel Farage, which has only blank pages internally.
It seems the Party of Free Speech is in fact the Party Against Free Speech…
… even when there is no comment made at all.

All UKIPers seem to be under the impression that they can stop anything bad being said about them or UKIP yet are free themselves to say anything, however rude, that they like to. One of the signs of abject stupidity IMO.
I will fight to the last drop of my blood to defend UKIP’s freedom-of-silence.
UKIP and the Tories are both proven defenders of Free Speech: they consider that THEY and THEY ALONE have the Right to Free Speech. Anyone who criticises them should NOT have Free Speech. They cannot comprehend that the word and concept of “FREE” cannot be limited with exclusive boundaries. They are intellectual, political, conceptual and emotional lightweights.
This reminds me of an old Tom Paxton song which consists of something like “I’ll sing you a song about Spiro Agnew and all the great things he’s done.” followed by a minute’s silence.
