IDS special adviser gets peerage – as DWP admits thousands died after ‘fit for work’ assessments

Last Updated: August 28, 2015By

Iain Duncan Smith’s top special adviser has been awarded a peerage — on the same day that the DWP finally admitted that thousands of people have died shortly after being declared ‘fit for work’.

Philippa Stroud has been at IDS’ side for years and shares the blame for many of the Tories’ social policies. The department had fought for months to prevent release of the damning stats — at one point telling parliament that they didn’t exist.

Good God, they are beyond anything I have ever known before. A medal for Herr Dumpkopf-Schmitt’s Kamp Kommandant, but why no medal for Das Fuhrer Kammeron ??

He’s the one giving them out.

IDS should be made to resign because of the fake benefit claimants leaflets fiasco and also for lying on his CV.

Just one long, sordid saga of stinking corruption.

Just goes to show how little respect this government has for its public; I won’t say electors because no sensible person would ever have elected it.

Philippa Stroud appointment is a kick in the teeth to all of the many thousands of relatives who have lost loved ones in going through welfare reform

    Words fail me

Just like the Bankers getting their bonuses for causing the financial crash of 2008. If you was late for your job constantly, would you get a bonus? Double standards for those that have and those that don’t.

Talk about a smack in the teeth for those who have died from her advise and his acquiescence; although he does not need any advise because he believes he is omnipotent! So a bit like his wife’s ‘no-job’ – paid with public money.

For the sake of clarity, let’s be reminded that Philipa Stroud was the co-founder and former Executive Director of the think tank the Centre for Social Justice which she set up with Duncan Smith. From the word “Go”, Duncan Smith has had Stroud advising him and helping to form policy. Though she seems to have left the think tank (God, I detest that term), I think you’d have to be exceptionally naive if you didn’t assume that their pet project hasn’t been hiding in the shadows all along, feeding ideas to Stroud and IDS and lobbying in its own interests.

I think it’s atrocious. I don’t care if it’s technically legal. I think it stinks.

“Stroud wrote a book, God’s Heart for the Poor, in which she explains how to deal with people showing signs of “demonic activity”…………….and this head-the-ball is a leading light in Smith’s “reforms”? A friend is a staunch Christian and his remarks about Cameron and Smith aren’t particularly complementary to the Tory Party – in fact very much the opposite.

I hope she uses her demon removal powers better than her time with the uber demon Dunky Smith. She is going to join the right minded gathering in that megga expensive talking shop. Maybe she will start a new westminster coven……specialty focus …peasant bashing.

Smith, the ghastly Stroud and so on need to be taken out and shot, granted.

There are at least 4000 nurses, physios, dieticians, doctors who should join their number for prostituting their professional qualifications.

Royal colleges and registration bodies owe a bob or two also.

Of course a crony of his is getting honoured, it’s hard work killing off us plebs, it’s very time consuming to devise many evil schemes that they can think of to wear us down and make us so distressed and even more ill that we kill ourselves, it’s very tiring work you know, Ms. Stroud has done her job exemplary and has gotten her reward, the evil bitch, like him, they deserve a much more fitting and painful reward!
