No link between sanctions and suicide says Iain Duncan Smith. Because he is blocking it from being published?

Last Updated: October 30, 2015By

It doesn’t matter how many times the Gentleman Ranker (Iain Duncan Smith, above) is told the facts – he’ll never publicly accept them. He is a sanction death denier.

Look at the number of people whose deaths were investigated by the Department for Work and Pensions, after they committed suicide following the application of a sanction by the DWP:

5Fd5E6s

The DWP compiled a report on the causes of these deaths, but this is not to be released to the public.

According to David Cameron (replying to Angus Robertson in Prime Minister’s Questions on Wednesday), “We can’t publish the specific report which you talk about because it has personal and medical data in it which would not be appropriate for publication.”

But the government routinely publishes reports with such information redacted, and it is common practice to publish information in such a form in order to allow the findings to become public knowledge while protecting personal details.

The only reason this report is being hidden is to allow Iain Duncan Smith to continue denying what we already know – and he has already read.

Even when he was discussing information that has been published, the man we call RTU (Return To Unit) or SNLR (Services No Longer Required), in tribute to his failed army career, managed to get it wrong.

Vox Political commenter Rowan Farmer said: “When he was questioned about the Work Capability Assessment and the 2,300 deaths of claimants who died after being found fit for work in WCA assessments, he replied that ‘those in a similar position who are not involved with WCA the mortality rates are very similar to those involved with WCA’

“Well doesn’t that just show that it was WRONG to find these people ‘fit for work’? Isn’t he admitting that they WERE seriously ill and not malingering as he’d like the country to believe?”

Challenged by Labour MP Emma Lewell-Buck on welfare reforms pushing people to kill themselves, he said: “I don’t accept your assertion somehow that these things are directly linked.”These are tragedies in their own right and they are often very complex as individual cases.

“Sanctions have been part of the benefit system for some time. Under the last Labour government they were accepted as part of the benefit system. I always accepted them. I always recognised there were issues occasionally and problems but I didn’t go round accusing the then Labour government of running a system that somehow ended up in the way that you are making this allegation.”

That would be because the Labour government didn’t.

Please can someone find a couple of doctors to section this oxygen thief under the mental health act? It’s clear that he represents a danger to others, which is the most common reason for committal.
As a pathological liar, it’s also clear he won’t ever change.

Idiotic Demented Sociopath failed in the army, failed as a politician, failed as a leader, failed as a minister and most certainly failed as a human being. Where there is no sense, there is no feeling.

This disgusting cowardly mad dog needs put to sleep. When are journalists going to do their job of being journalists and not propagandists. He is now the best known serial killer, he is one true shunt and liar and proves that we do not live in a free democracy or a civilized country. I fear the UN have no powers to stop these Nazis. Just look at the bedroom tax nothing changed and people are still dying daily. People will say It will shame this so called government, they have no shame, morals or compassion. EVIL.

This journalist can only speak for himself, I’m afraid. Still, I’m doing pretty well at getting the facts out, aren’t I?

Mike, sorry. You are the exception and yes you are. I should have said the media in general. Keep up the fantastic work you are doing. Lets hope your work brings reason and fear to these hypocritical parasites and liars in power.

I long for the day when the truth finally crawls out from the bowels of the DWP – and what a stench it will make.
I’m not sure that a change in government will see the facts emerge as I fear it will be too explosive to reveal, and we may have to wait until some point in the distant future – but emerge they will, probably revealed after IDS has popped his clogs.
I honestly and truly believe that this will be viewed as a very dark part in our history, and future generations will be unable to comprehend how this was allowed to happen.

We are not in a democracy because we cannot elect the Prime Minister, he/she has tp meet with the Queen to discuss matters of state when they are both in London, the content of discussion is secret, our election system is not representitive as is the EU elections and we have no actual right to anything as all law including the \Human Rights Act is based on privelage in law (It does not need the consent of the people to repeal those rights). I have found that the Ambassador to the Philippines in 2007 committed treason and used the Philippines as an experiment to see how best to have Sharia (Islamic) courts recognised there in place of national secular law, he succeeded and now the minority of Muslims are taking over with further help of the British Embassy in Manila. I was blocked from the Embassy Facebook without warning and without explanation, my regular e-mail account has been blocked bu what appears to be all UK.Gov mail servers and that was evident when I sent messages asking the DWP why ther were applying sexual discrimination against male pensioners by making them wait an extra 5 years over that of women, I was blocked when I insisted they answer the direct question about it. We have censorship, we have a dictatorship, we have no real right, we are soon to be charged for Freedom of Information requests, there are soon to be no affordable means of checking for corruption or crime in Government circles. Oh and by the way the British Embassy Manila has been commiting the criminal act of Faraud for many years and no one blinks an eylid. I think that our civil servants have the poert and NOT the front stooges as in the politicians.

All very interesting, but this seems to have nothing to do with the subject.
