This is how British people see Donald Trump: A strange man with a cat lying on his head [Image discovered on Twitter].

The Beast has been doing great work at the expense of US Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump, and this should be brought to a wider audience.

What would American readers of This Blog, for example, think of the way Mr Trump is seen by their UK cousins?

Comments from US readers are invited.

The Huffington Post has lost its patience with the wannabe Dictator of America. From now on, in every article they run on him, they’re going to call him a ‘liar’ and ‘racist’. Because that is exactly what he is.

Support for this idiot just shows Americans for the fools and imbeciles that they are. For Gods sake wake up and get someone with at least a rudimentary brain as your president.

That’s a bit of a generalisation isn’t it? Most of the Americans I know are terrified of Trump and are desperate to see him fail.

Also consider; the other GOP candidates are little better than Trump, but one or two of them, especially Chris Christie, can leech support from the Democrats when the Election comes around. Whereas no Democrat supporter would even imagine voting for Trump. In a strange way, Trump has inadvertently done some good, because the sheer horror of the thought of him winning has mobilised a lot of black and hispanic Americans in particular to get registered to vote, just to make sure he doesn’t get to the White House.

If Trump becomes the GOP candidate, a maximum turn-out of Democrat voters is assured, plus a substantial swing of liberal Republican voters to the Democrats. If that happens, a Democrat victory in November is also assured.
