Disabled woman’s ‘invalid car’ is vandalised because it is ‘devaluing our flats’

What kind of person does £6,000 worth of damage to a disabled person’s mobility vehicle and thinks that is a reasonable thing to do?

A criminal.

Let us hope that the culprit is detected in short order and is made to pay for the offence.

But let’s also remember that the Conservative Government and the media are also to blame for Valerie Burke’s ordeal.

Here‘s an article demonstrating the way the Conservatives have demonised benefit claimants.

And here‘s an example of that language being taken up by a representative of the mass media (albeit not one that is highly reputable).

Can you think of any other political organisation that worked hard to set its citizens against a minority of the population?

I can: The Nazis.

Perhaps people should think about that before vandalising property because of what someone told them on the telly or in the paper.

A DISABLED woman has told how she had notes pushed through her front door branding her mobility scooter an “invalid car” and claiming it is devaluing surrounding flats.
Valerie Burke parks her scooter on the pavement outside her flat in Norfolk Square, Brighton, but said since moving in last summer it has been pushed down the road, trashed and had paint thrown on it by vandals.

The 64-year-old said she has also been subjected to handwritten notes demanding she move it.

One … reads: “Please move your vehicle. It is blocking the pathway and devaluing our flats!”

Another says: “Please move this invalid car so it does not block pathway.”

Despite the notes, Mrs Burke is allowed to park her scooter on the pavement, according to the council.

If this government incited hatred against blacks for example, in the way it incites hatred against the disabled, it would be seen as totally racist.

Similar thing happened to my daughters mobility car – I was attacked by a drunken lowlife who complained my car obstructed his garage (It didn’t, I do park opposite, but the only reason he couldn’t get in and out was because of the state he was in). Police were called, he disappeared leaving his elderly parents to deal with.
I park there as I have no on street parking and its closest to my daughters needs, its just around the corner. They were made aware of the vehicles purpose when trying to reason with them.
Next day I found £600 worth of damage done to the car. I now have to park a 10min walk away to ensure the car is safe – needless to say the police could do nothing as it couldn’t be proven it was the guy in question. Incidentally, his father was quite disabled himself….

The conservatives have few, if any, redeeming virtues and one of their main characteristics is cowardice laced with bullying. One of the reasons I am half persuaded to believe in the story of Cameron and the pig is that he belonged to the Bullingdon Club who were a decadent bunch of brutes, reminiscent of Jack’s clique in Lord of the Flies.
The same morality seems to apply to the brutes in Norfolk Square, Brighton.

Another sad story and a sad reflection on what Tory hate-filled policies are doing to people.

Yes,sadly Nazi’s does fit and to heck with Godwin and his stupid law.Perhaps Godwin never thought that Nazi ideals would come to the surface again. He was wrong, history has a habit of repeating itself.

In thirties Germany I doubt if people thought they would be gassing the disabled along with the Jews in Concentration Camps. It took small steps to lead people to commit those hideous crimes. And a lot of propaganda. And the way this Government uses Propaganda in peacetime is very worrying indeed.Small steps.

Actually the Nazis started by demonising and then murdering the disabled, sick, elderly and mentally ill well before WWII. It was called Aktion T4, and the methods and propaganda they used can be seen as a template IDS has used. Probably with the input from the Nudge Unit. Their propaganda was such that people were handing over family members to what was obviously an extermination programme. Aktion T4 is thought to have murdered 70,000 vulnerable adults and children. IDS and the Eton junta.is apparently well in excess of that now.

This is Cameron’s fault, after all he has said and is still saying bad things against the sick and disabled, he has even encouraged people to hate us.
