On the eve of #Budget2016, how would the UK describe George Osborne?

160315bluebellendThe image above just about sums it up for the majority.

However, dear reader, you will undoubtedly wish to know why most of the UK feels this way.

It probably has something to do with this…
160315theattack… happening so soon after the £30-per-week cut in ESA, which followed the revelation that 200,000 more children are in poverty due to Conservative policies.

When you add that to the fact that Osborne has done nothing about tax avoidance…

160315taxavoidance

… but intends to announce a tax cut for many of the most highly-paid people in the country…

160315taxcut

… it is easier to understand why people might react thus…

[They probably meant ‘poverty’ rather than ‘povery’.]

… and judge Osborne, and any Budget he produces, in this way:

In summary, it only remains to add:

I get the point but I doubt that this government would have been elected if the majority of the people of the UK knew at the time what it had in mind. It is NOT the country which is MORALY BANKRUPT but those that are running it – sorry RUINING IT!

I can’t articulate what I think of George Osborne without it being a vicious tirade, the very sight of his face raises my blood pressure, he has a face you want to put your fist to!

Brave men gave their lives and souls fighting against fascism and for a better future. Now look at what we have, they have changed their Boss uniforms for suits. I hope all the idiots who voted Tory get what they deserve. The famous photo shows Osborne with a line of coke and a dominatrix prostitute. I think he still indulges in his deviant passions and more. Osborne ,IDS, CaMoron are like ghosts. You feel cold and your hairs stand up then you feel sick to the stomach. Disgusting lowlife slimy sickly scumbag b—–ds.

I would describe him as a good Chancellor. I am mainly happy with things that he has done and I look forward to several more years of the same.

Is that comment based on your own selfish considerations or on what you think is best for everybody in the country, including the extremely vulnerable disabled people who the Conservative Government is victimising?
Think very carefully; the budget statement was an eighty-minute (or so) acceptance of failure.

Good? Even by his own measures, he has failed to hit every target he set for himself, failed to meet any promise made, expects something different to happen despite just doing more of the same. At best he is dishonest and incompetent, at worst he’s heavily involved in the Tory conspiracy to commit mass murder of the most vulnerable in society.
So either you are dangerously deluded, of a selfish git with at least an 8 figure bank balance (because they are the only ones to really benefit from his incompetence).

Don’t forget that there is a downturn in the world economy and as such it would be expected to miss targets. I expect him to miss more. Despite that we are still one of the fastest growing countries. John McDonnell gave a talk at Birkbeck College a couple of weeks ago where he is an alumni as I am. I watched as he was torn to shreds by the audience’s questions, notably by questions from lecturers there. He avoided every question put to him by the academic staff. By the way, he studied politics and NOT economics at Birkbeck and it showed.

Is anybody able to provide a balancing view of this talk?

Ah, so since it’s Osborne, a downturn in the economy is a good reason to miss targets, is it? I bet you were supporting him all the way through the last 5/6 years when he insisted that the last Labour government was to blame for all his troubles. I suppose, in your opinion, the state of the economy then had nothing to do with the global crash of 2008.

I don’t think my honest opinion would be allowed on any blog, let alone a reputable one.
