If they didn’t like her being hissed, Kuenssberg supporters will hate this

He writes: “Thank goodness powerful voices are finally making a stand against abuse of our poor, voiceless BBC journalists.”

If you don’t like it, take a good, hard look at yourself. Put what happened to Ms Kuenssberg next to what happens to any number of other people all the time and the reaction against it is humiliatingly disproportionate. Humiliating for those who take her side, that is.

So who are the real abusers? Those who hissed a reporter who simply refuses to do her job properly?

Or the reporter herself and those who side with her?

Think carefully before responding.

Powerful stuff. Puts it nicely into proportion. Except for LK’s devotees.

Like many Tory mouthpieces Ms Kuenssberg deserves every hiss and boo she gets, listen carefully when she is on, the echos of disapproval reverberate across the land. Alas, she will never hear them because she, like all her ilk, is detached from reality.

I have read a few social media comments that brand the ‘booers and hissers’ as immature and childish (along with the usual ‘Corbyn’ related derogatory comments), and they do have a point. However, I can’t blame them for doing that. Something else for those ‘commenters’ to bear in mind is that it’s not the first time that someone has been booed and hissed at like that…. and it won’t be the last.

There are a lot of people in the media who have never once had to face an audience. They have often spent every day pumping their version of the world out, knowing that they’d never hear about it if anyone disagreed. These are the people who lie and deceive.

Notice how Corbyn doesn’t get booed. It’s not because we’re all so biased; it’s because he spent most of his life speaking directly to audiences, talking with constituents and so on. He knows that the best way to avoid getting shouted down or heckled is to respect your audience and not give them a reason to WANT to shout you down or heckle you.
