UK could be forced to pay into EU for a decade after #Brexit

It seems the money would be to cover the UK’s previous pledges to provide funding for the EU.

Now, can somebody please tell me how leaving the European Union is going to benefit us in any way – especially in the short term?

By the time any long-term benefits – which may be fictitious, remember – come along, we’re all likely to be bankrupt, it seems to me.

Germany has warned Theresa May that Britain could be forced to pay into the EU for a full decade after it leaves.

Wolfgang Schäuble, the country’s finance minister, also sought to dash Tory hopes of slashing taxes to attract companies after Brexit, insisting G20 rules would continue to impose limits.

The interview, with the Financial Times, was seen as a hardening of Germany’s stance, as the Prime Minister arrived in Berlin to meet with Nato allies and update Angela Merkel on her preparations for Brexit.

Frankly, I would not blame the EU as I am sure we would do the same. The Conservative have been keeping this little shocker quiet and I wonder how the electorate will feel about it.

Mr Wolfgang Schäuble is off his rocket, another EU nannycrat who doesn’t understand the importance of free trade.
Only UK decide when to leave the EU, not the other 27 nations.
Mrs May can strait away renounce the 20 agreements.

Can she indeed? Nice of you to let her know.
I look forward to seeing that happen.

One has to ask how agreements to pay monies whilst in the eu can be enforced after we leave they were made on the basis of us being members, and as there is a doubts to the legality of us ever having been members anyway just how will the eu “force” us to do anything? Just more remain nonsensical propaganda.

You think the UK will be able to get out of a legal agreement on the basis of a “doubt”?
Let’s all just see how well that works for you.

…or in other words we cut off our nose to spite EU’s face….

Considering the amount of moolah we’re discussing, it seems likely the EU will be able to afford reconstructive surgery.
