I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest that maybe the indy100 headline – “It turns out Donald Trump grows all his hair on this beach in Norway” – may fall into the ‘fake news’ category.

The original comparison of the president-elect’s mop top was made by Christy Mohr, a Canadian visiting friends on the island.

Nordly reports that while Mohr was walking around, she noticed something that made her jump and say: “Hey – this looks like the Donald Trump’s hair!”

Christy added to iTromso

It looked like a Donald Trump-factory, so I just had to capture it.

It appears the strange plants are a form of inter-tidal grass, that grow around Jøvik near Tromsø, according to photographer Fergus Murray.
