Theresa May DID mislead Parliament about Trident failure before renewal vote

She knew about the failed missile test and she didn’t mention it. Instead, Theresa May allowed Parliament to devote billions of pounds – of OUR money – to a faulty nuclear weapons system.

If we ever did need to fire Trident (God forbid), it would probably destroy Birmingham or – and this would be ironic – Maidenhead.

(It’s Theresa May’s Parliamentary constituency).

We need to do something about this person. She is costing us a fortune, damaging our international reputation and harming our health – and she has only been in office for six months.

How much is too much?

Theresa May was told about the test of a Trident missile that reportedly misfired, two weeks before she held a House of Commons vote on renewing the £40bn nuclear system.

The prime minister’s spokeswoman insisted on Monday that the submarine HMS Vengeance and its crew were “certified” afterwards because the operation was successful. But she repeatedly refused to deny the Sunday Times report that a missile veered off course when fired during the test.

Interviewed on Sunday on BBC1’s Andrew Marr Show, May declined four times to say what she knew about the apparent malfunction of the missile.

They keep talking about Trident as “Defence”, when they should really be referring to it as “Mutually Assured Destruction.” A big difference.

Just another Tory liar. I suspect like Trump she believes what she says and so the need for facts or the truth is irrelevant.

By withholding crucial information about the Trident “oops we just blew up our ally” moment, she did not just mislead Parliament, she LIED about it’s efficacy/reliability.

from what l saw she didnt decline to answer, she just used it as an opportunity to try redirect the question and try and make Corbyn look bad when in fact we are paying for a faulty system and Corbyn quite rightly voted against it.

This is why they have tests to iron out problems, after all it is Rocket science.

Yes indeed. And it didn’t work.

Just a minute these weapons of MAD have been around for many many years now so ironing out problems, still, is a bit bloody late? Are you seriously saying that we have dodgy nuclear subs circling the globe that are still not up to scratch?
