‘Tens of thousands’ expected to protest Trump’s travel ban

Stand Up To Racism, which also helped organise Monday’s London march (pictured), is protesting Theresa May’s state invite to Mr Trump [Image: Getty Images].

This Writer hopes even more people attend the March in London than protested against Trump last week.

When protest becomes a regular event, it is easy for interest to tail off – especially here in the UK. People tend to think that they’ve done their bit by turning up the first time, even though the problem they were protesting hasn’t gone away.

But Herr Drumpf keeps piling on the indignities with every executive signature, and I hope the people of the UK aren’t too self-absorbed to realise what this means.

Prove me right, Britain.

Thousands of protestors are once again expected to descend on London this weekend, to demonstrate against Donald Trump’s immigration ban and his scheduled visit to the UK.

Protest group, Stand Up To Racism said “tens of thousands” of people, including shadow home secretary Diane Abbott, will join Saturday’s march from the US Embassy in Grosvenor Square to Downing Street.

It’s a fight between two supremacies the globalists against the sovereignists.
All the protests are paid by Mr Soros.
I am not a pro Mr Trump but all these protests are against someone who is doing what he said in his manifesto very different of what Mr Obama did (or did not do) in 8 years.

Mr Obama had both houses of Congress against him (they were held by the Republicans) for a significant part of his presidency, making it extremely difficult for him to push policies into practice. Had you forgotten that?

Mike, what are you saying that the mess the USA is in is not Mr Obama’s fault but the two houses of Congress only?

      That’s how it looks.

So Mr Obama was against the war in these 7 nations and the Congress went against Mr Obama? is that what you want me to believe?
Mr Obama was the most go to war than any president in USA.
I believe the order to drone a country is given by the president.
Although that i am not endorsing Mr Trump decision to ban people from entering the USA by muslims of the 7 nations but if Mr Obama had a different policy there will be less people radicalized to commit murders in the West.

Who’s saying Obama was against military action in any of the countries on the list? A US President will act on the advice he is given. But military action on one occasion, against terrorists rather than a nation’s government, is different from a travel sanction against its citizens lasting a long period.
So you are not comparing like with like and are instead trying to stir up antipathy towards Mr Obama for false reasons.

Here’s a list of all the organizations that made this event possible.
The city pays the brunt of the services costs. The rest of the money is raised by the groups down below. The politicians spoke at the event.

Every time you say “Soros”, you look like an ignorant idiot or an alt-right troll. This was an event by the people, for the people. Anyone who says otherwise is sowing propaganda.

Mike, please stop ducking and diving, Mr Obama presidential time is well documented the Nobel Peace Price is the one who had more wars than any other president, his 8 years in charge have trebled the debt in USA and you ‘re writing that i am stirring up antipathy towards Mr Obama for false reasons.
Does objectivity is not in your vocabulary?

    • Mike Sivier February 5, 2017 at 3:43 pm - Reply

Objectivity is certainly in my vocabulary. As is grammar…
I haven’t done any ducking and diving.
      You have.
You have tried to blame Obama for a Republican Act, and you have tried to connect that with military action that was not against the governments of the countries in question but against terrorism. Now you are trying to bring his economic policy into the debate. How much more of this silliness are you prepared to inflict on us? (Rhetorical question – don’t bother answering.)
Any further comments along the same lines will be trashed. I don’t have time to counter false arguments and non sequiturs.
