This week’s episode of Jonathan Pie actually makes some really valuable points about the differences between Communism and Socialism – and the fact that most of us are Socialists but don’t know it.

There are phrases in here that are well worth remembering, next time someone accuses Jeremy Corbyn, or Labour in general, of being a bunch of Trotskyites and Commies.

“Socialism recognises that Capitalism results in inequality so that sometimes the state has to step in… What sort of b*****d would cut disability benefits? Who really thinks that’s a good thing?”

That’s a great question to ask at the pub, next time some b*****d decides to pick on “scroungers” who can’t be bothered to go to work.

If Labour embraced socialism and championed its principles, they’d win… We are a socialist country but we just don’t know it.”

And who in their right mind would want to end that?
