Tory voters have forced themselves to take 24 tax rises since 2010

Last Updated: May 6, 2017By

But Tories themselves – and their rich/corporate friends – have had tax cut after tax cut.

Theresa May is promising more tax rises for the poor and those on middle incomes – and no doubt more tax cuts are on their way for the rich.

Are you really planning to vote for your own impoverishment?

How can people be so feeble as to allow such hypocrisy to exist and to continue to vote for the same? If there is a next time “you ain’t seen nothin yet”! Wake up before it is too late!

It has long puzzled me why working class people vote in large numbers for Tories. I can only assume that a great many people are taken in by the lies and vitriol from the mainly right-wing biased press, controlled by billionaires, which pours scorn and derision on any radical leader.

Working class en masse Tory voters?
As a rule, they dont exist.
Cut the figures of the last GE and of those eligible to vote (not those who actually bothered to vote) , only around 26% of the electorate voted Tory. About the same number as a percent of the population who earn in excess of £65000 pa, Millionaires and above, CEO’s, The Rentier class.
In other words, the same number of those self interested voted for the party best looking out for themselves.

What did happen (in my opinion) was Milliband repeatedly shot the Labour movement in the foot, With policy almost mirroring Tory (Rachel Reeves poisonous ranting springs to mind), with siding with Tories on Scottish Devolution and so forth.

The Tories winning the last GE was a failure of opposition.
With Corbyn and McDonnels stewardship, i hope we’ve rectified this, this time around

You’re right about the failure of opposition last time – but Labour didn’t side with the Tories on Scottish devolution. Both parties want Scotland to remain in the United Kingdom, that’s all.

Maybe that some workforces are forced to vote for a party they hate or lose jobs. Just a thought, could this be happening?

And all of those impositions still not enough to satisfy their need to pay off the bankers debts let alone break even as that dopy Hooray who now heads the Ev Strandard would have us believe he could do…along with walking on water. Yeah they were all lies.. These and other future tax measures will only hit the honest who honourably pay their tax via PAYE one should not assume the real rich will be contibuting additional tax out of their Cayman etc hidden funds. That will continue untouched by any Tory government rest assurred.
