Can we really tolerate a state visit from a US President who TROLLED us after a terror attack?

Last Updated: June 6, 2017By

“Trump and Theresa new best friends,” tweeted Diane Abbot. “Be afraid world. Be very afraid.” How right she was!

Yes, we know Donald Trump is a bosom buddy of Theresa May, but he mocked the Mayor of London after a terror attack; why should his forthcoming state visit be allowed to go ahead if he can’t show requisite respect?

Mrs May’s refusal to condemn Mr Trump’s childish behaviour is another nail in her political coffin. She has tacitly endorsed an insult to the United Kingdom.

And it all started on Twitter:

He followed this with a second ill-considered remark, one day later:

Mrs May absolutely refused to criticise Mr Trump in any way for his outbursts, in a press conference:

Here’s video of some of those questions and her responses:

The response on the social media has been overwhelming:

This is the will of the country.

We don’t want our government to welcome a US President who insults us after we have been attacked.

And we certainly don’t need a prime minister who won’t condemn the man who utters such an insult.

That is why you should do this:

Vote Labour on Thursday – for our national pride.

Delusional MegaloMayniac: desperate to have Power, not a clue how to exercise Power or use it, just wants to have Power. Wants to be the new Thatcher. Thatcher had extra-special relationship with Ronnie Raygun, so Megalomaniac decides to flirt with Trump and the two of them to lead and inspire the whole world into their great Political dreams based on their own extra-special relationship. Delusional MegaloMayniac fails to realise that Trump is NOT a reliable ally. Delusional MegaloMayniac fails to realise that she and her two closest Special Advisors are incapable of writing a Manifesto, and fail to realise that the Public would see through their rhetoric and irritating catch phrases. Power slips through MegalMayniac’s fingers, her only hope is to tell more lies about Corbyn/Labour.
