Dear Esther McVey, Your ‘Facts’ Arn’t True!

Last Updated: April 14, 2013By

Here’s another blog article about government statistical misinformation – coming so soon after my own ‘Mathematics, mathematics, mathematics’ article, it is easy to see a theme developing here.
This article refers to the way information has been twisted by DWP minister Esther McVey and the government, to make the change from Disability Living Allowance to the Personal Independence Payment – and the damage that will do to many claimants who will no longer qualify for support – necessary.
The evidence seems clear. Any administration that has to distort the facts in order to win an argument should not be allowed to continue with its plan.
The article calls for like-minded people to sign an open letter to Ms McVey and the DWP. I urge you to do so.

i agree with what has been written i am disabled myself and i can assure you that my dla was not decided just on written paper it took me 5 years for the dwp to understand my illness was real and not just a scam and that was with all my consultants letters and such. ms mcvey and co do not have a clue what stress and worry this is going to bring to claimants plus the grief which is cruel.and for most it will be the end of their independence

I’m not surprised. Isn’t Esther McVey a Z-list T.V presenter who has only been in politics three years?
I know everybody has to start somewhere but this is not a good start. You’d like to think a life-time of party politics dehumanises you and drives you into being dishonest and manipulative.
She seems to have taken to it like a duck to Peter Vigger’s expenses-mediated duck island.

Esther McVey is evil cold and heartless. A perfect combination to be a Tory minister for manslaughter
