Heart attack victim left in tears by bedroom tax chase
Here’s a follow-up to today’s Vox Political bedroom tax article. To my way of thinking, it isn’t the fact that this lady was left in tears that is bad – it’s the fact that a woman recovering from a heart attack was being harassed for payment. Is this a way for the DWP to get local councils to do its dirty work?
bloody disgusting harassing the poor lady while recovering from heart attack!! Its so worrying going to bed knowing you have to find the money somewhere to pay this stupid tax!! I have been paying mine a month in arrears as that’s the best way of coping! going to pay junes rent tomorrow so that will mean I have no money for food! but at least I still have my home!! (lived in my home for 30years and have recently been diagnosed with ms) have my meals round my 89year old mothers and consider myself as lucky!!
