Vox Permanent – our venture into print

Strong Words and Hard Times: Does the cover to the first Vox Political book collection prove conclusively that the author should stick to writing words and stay away from design? Or do you like it?

You may have noticed there has been no new article from Vox Political today – only reblogs from other people’s pages.

This is because I have been quietly celebrating the anniversary of my birth. I am 21 (and if you believe that, I really must be a politician)!

There is news to tell, though – and here it is:

The first Vox Political collection – Strong Words and Hard Times – is now available and may be ordered from this address.

The intention is to make an eBook available in the very near future, as I am aware that this may be more desirable for those of you who live in the digital age (and those of you who are living on a tight budget).

If, like me, you like to hold a book in your hot little hands, smell the fresh ink on the pages, and carry it with you to read anywhere you like, please consider supporting this venture! I can’t promise it will help the national economy much – but it could make a world of difference to my personal economy!

Read up on what Andy Williams has written on the subject of Kindle publishing (marketing ebooks). No, not the singer, the marketer. On Amazon. Lots of informed good sense there.

Well done, great venture and adventure for you. I’m one of those who will have to by it on my kindle if possible but I really do wish you luck with it 🙂

Good idea to earn a bit of pocket money, my washer has just broke so will have to wait to purchase it, or may get it cheap on e bay – only joking.

Happy birthday whether you’re 21 or not lol
And many thanks for all your hard work on our behalf.

I agree with you about the design, best left to non-writers. Well done though, this will make a good Christmas present for some Tory ‘leaners’ I know. Regards, Pete.
