The married tax allowance will benefit the neediest families the least

    this will only effect very low couples whose wages are of a minimum wage where a spouse works part time in reality a non event and lets the person whose superposed to be running a business off the hook

    The main goal should be for businesses to pay a proper wage and not for the tax payer to foot the shortfall
