Oh Dear Rachel Reeves – You Got it Badly Wrong!!

Last Updated: October 13, 2013By

Jayne Linney hits one of the points I neglected to mention in my own post, and hits it squarely on the head. It ISN’T good enough for Labour to frame its policy based on the FEELINGS of people who have jobs. Those feelings are themselves based on evidence-less claims by Tories. Labour should be basing its policy on FACT.
And the facts disagree with Ms Reeves.

It all appears clear to me.

They’ve created a population of emotional cripples with no discernment or empathy and can now influence them emotionally. Politicians can project how they feel and it have an effect by striking the corresponding emotional chord in the media and the public that hasn’t got time to get educated.

They also follow the patterns of narcissists. Playing the victim, shifting blame, scapegoating, gaslighting, attention seeking and avoiding answering direct questions.

We, as a nation, are in an emotionally abusive relationship with a narcissist state that’s trying to make people more and more dependent on it.

That seems a persuasive argument. I’ve already asked one commenter, today, if they’d like to write a guest article but would you like to do one?

Among other things, you could explain some of the terms you use here – what’s gaslighting?

Gaslighting is a form of mental abuse in which false information is presented with the intent of making a victim doubt his or her own memory, perception and sanity

I bet that’s a common phenomenon. I’m sure it’s been done to me.

Exactly. I mean, what’s the point in some of us working our fingers to the bone proving that he’s causing serious harm to people who don’t deserve it when Rachel Reeves is going to come along and give him a free pass to do whatever he wants, because Labour will be tough too (or whichever way she put it)?
