However, this is what happens in life when a policy announced in the House of Commons is not thought through properly at a legal level

Likewise the opposition can’t and don’t pick up on it or block is because none of them understand small detail or in fact procedure

Getting things wrong cost lives and it’s about time the mp’s got to grips with their lack of knowledge across the board and started to learn from those who are acknowledged as leaders in their field

I think it’s probably more to do with the fact that they didn’t care enough about what would happen.

i don’t think so mike mp’s i have always found over the past 40 years and lords don’t understand small detail hence all the drivel spoken in the commons and lords

As for any common sense there, all found wonting i have found and that will never improve as the overall level of education being s poor irrespective of university

But you proceed from a position in which you assume MPs want to do well for the population. That is clearly not the case at the moment.

Indeed mike they always say they go into politics to help people?
i have never found that to be the case not once i myself have always been seen to help others from a very young boy and i always found it on then and now that i had to do so on my own

to my credit i have been made twice in my lifetime to two people power of attorney with both times in question the people involved over the age of seventy

That is how people should be judged on what is going on behind closed doors people up and down the country making a real difference at the end of people’s lives and entrusted to do the right thing for their far-flung relatives left behind

Not a MBE being given out for a haircut to the PM

Yes, the suicide case is shocking.

Now, it’s a cancer victim denied benefits because she “contributed” to her own condition:

There “are” good MPs…for example Dennis Skinner, a second MP who claimed nothing from the public purse and a third who got murderers extradited and punished at some risk to himself. But most seem to be wastes of space and come up with laws that are either barkingly right wing, or (far more rarely) too left wing (for example, we often can’t deport rapists as it would “breach their human rights.”

Dennis Skinner, is good for a mp but he did fail at the first hurdle when the welfare was drawn up under Gordon brown that is was deepley floored and would kill many people

He and all mp’s have also failed again and in the lords when the Conservatives took over in not highlighting that as it stood the welfare reform bill would cost many lives

He also failed as all mp’s have done in to not taking responsibility for looking after the death register so that those that have died can be accounted for in law as to why they have died

      for the record
Dennis Skinner, and Michael meacher are keeping records of all those that have died I’m led to believe NOW but it will be many years for them to be able to account in law for ALL the deaths of the sick and disabled in going through welfare reform and to what contributed to their death “NEGLIGENCE OR CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE ” and with regret to the families of all those that have died will never be able to understand why their loved ones have died

you only have one GOOD chance in the house of commons to stop a policy from taking place and you have to be seen and precise as to what is wrong with what is being said at that point in time

with the welfare reform bill it was very simple in that the sick and disabled were libel to die through negligence but no one put that argument across at the time so all was lost as we know

also if it were put across by just one mp that the sick and disabled would die or be at risk of dying through negligence and that they would keep a death register of proof that the welfare reform bill was wrong then the chance’s of the welfare reform bill going through would have been killed off in it’s present form at the first hurdle and subsequently proper safeguards would have then been put into place

the welfare reform bill then could have been redrawn up so that the sick and disabled were not at risk

as i say welfare reform is very simple in my eyes it’s just a pity and that with much regret I’m not an mp and i have to live with that fact because if i had of been most of those that have died would have lived so like all things in life one person can and does change the lives of others

it is very bizarre thou that out of all the mp’s and lords that they failed just to mention the keeping of a death register because that was all that was needed to kill off the welfare reform bill in it’s present form

We will have to put it down in the commons and the house of lords to the sheep effect and hopefully we get a mp at some point that can and does understand small detail and that in years to come government policy’s are thought through properly for the benefit of everyone

MPs. Don’t make me laugh, those SOBs don’t give flying f*** about the people, they are much more interested in their own pockets, careers, expenses, pay increase, and getting in to well paid clubs such as The Lords where it’s entirely possible to earn £300 for 35 mins attendance (not work, turning up signing in coffee then f*** off home or the call girl’s flat) lazy useless time and money wasting idiots.

Be careful, Joseph! Believe it or not, there are MPs who know how to behave properly! Dennis Skinner, mentioned by Nick, is one of them – unless you have evidence to the contrary?

I’m sure there are Mike, but of the 650 MPs it’s a tiny percentage, to small I fear to make any real difference, the vast majority in my opinion are conniving corrupt self seeking party drones who will vote the way they are told to stay in a well paid job.
