This just shows that it is important for everyone to attend all the public meetings they can and make sure that public money is not wasted. Having said that it was Labour that introduced the bedroom tax in privately rented properties. Conservatives have forced it on to social housing causing huge harm and deaths particularly to the disabled, sick and elderly poor. It should be unequivocally scrapped as soon as possible as this is what we should demand at all meetings.
We should also demand far more social housing and stop blaming others. The bottleneck in lack of 2/3 bed houses and flats is causing much distress. All parties are guilty but let’s get building good quality social housing with renewable energy to provide housing and jobs for all.

Wasn’t somebody on the mass media last week, shooting down a Tory/Tory Democrat who compared what Labour did with privately-rented accommodation to the bedroom tax?
I’d be grateful if someone could point me to a link about that.
In the meantime, I think people had better be a little less keen to accuse Labour of wrongdoing in this respect.
