Harry Leslie Smith: Mr Cameron – keep your mitts off my NHS!

This gentleman’s words speak for themselves:

The speech was the subject of discussion today at a local Mid Wales hotel, where memories of the dark times before the National Health Service were recalled:

“People had to pay to see a doctor – so they didn’t go to see a doctor. They got sick, and then they died.”

“People had to pay for a hospital bed – unless a rich person, who had a bed already, offered to let them use that. Then, of course, they were obligated to that rich person. Gangsterism, but by a different name.”

There is much more to the privatisation of health care services than David Cameron’s lies. It is about taking health away from people who – if the Tories get their way – will have very little else.

It is about ruining other people’s lives – not for any great or noble reason – but because they can.

If you want to see the face of evil in the modern UK, it isn’t some IS terrorist. It isn’t a foreign dictator.

It is the face worn by David Cameron. By Andrew Lansley. It is even the gormless face of Jeremy Hunt.

wonderful speech mike it’s a pity i was not with him on stage as i could have taken my shirt off to show how I’ve been treated by this government as i look like a prisoner of war and at 8 stone I’m sure it would have gone down well with the audience

what he had to say was spot on my mother lost 9 brothers and sisters to TB and when i was young i too caught it and i can tell you now it’s very disfiguring in the chest area

Cameron and co wouldn’t have a clue about diseases he would never go to a place that put his life at risk not like our brave doctors and nurses who are out in Liberia, Sierra Leone etc trying to save the lives of the poorest in society

David Cameron would never go there thank god what he should be doing but never will is to make sure that those doctors and nurses are not forgotten when it comes to things like the new years honours list as those doctors and nurses that have gone out there not just from this country but from around the world are indeed the very best humans that this world has produced and should be recognized as such

In the New Year honours? That’s a good thought, but I dare say Call-Me-Dave has already filled it up with worth Tory donors.

I was disappointed to see that this youtube film of Harry Smith has only received 13,000 views over the five presentations . This should be well over 100,000 views by now—why are people not interested in seeing this. It should be mandatory in all schools as truth in politics is seldom heard
