Nailed! Czech minister’s immigration tweet belongs on #CameronMustGo

A battle won: Tomas Prouza's tweet that killed Cameron's credibility on immigration.

A battle won: Tomas Prouza’s tweet that killed Cameron’s credibility on immigration.

He’s had a rotten week but that’s no reason to sympathise with David Cameron.

It is the result of years of bad decisions and many hope that he continues to have similar rotten weeks in the future.

The last nail in the coffin came – appropriately – from Europe. Cameron’s had one disappointment after another from the continent this week, ranging from the revelation that his Home Secretary has been hiding the facts about immigration to the revelation that the number of foreigners coming to the UK has increased since his Coalition government came to office.

Yesterday (Friday), Cameron hoped to turn the tide with a hard-hitting speech proposing that the influx of immigrants might be slowed by a pledge that they would only be allowed to claim benefits after they had been in the UK for four years.

We can only imagine Cameron’s pride at having outlined a solution – as we can only imagine what he felt when the Czech Republic’s Europe Minister, Tomas Prouza, responded by posting a picture of Czech pilots serving in the RAF during the Second World War, with the message: “These Czechs ‘worked’ in the #UK for less than four years. No benefits for them?”

You can read more in the Huffington Post‘s article.

Cameron came to office promising to bring immigration down – “no ifs, no buts”. Now, according to that news medium, his words are “dead and buried”.

I don’t think he can bring immigration down. The EU won’t let him. I’m not entirely pro-EU but it is amusing when it thwarts Cameron.

The problem Cameron has he has believed his own party’s propaganda, and even if implemented in full his proposals would have negligible effect on numbers
Very few new immigrants claim benefit, that is easy to check on the DWP own database.
Plus not get a council house for four years. Take a look at council house waiting lists Cameron people who were born and bred here are having to wait longer than that as it is.
(Nine to eleven years with some councils.)
The huge elephant in the room is not new immigrants claiming benefits, it is 2nd and 3rd generation ones who in some instances have unemployment rates of 60%-75% plus in one specific instance due to serial cousin marriage 2% of immigrants are the reason for 30% of the severely disabled babies born in Britain.

Cameron is wrong on how he wonts to control immigration all thats he wonts to do will cause a backlash in the EU with the uk ending up as what he would like is a police state

A police state serves the conservatives very well as they have never liked foreigners but have always tolerated them as there cheep labour

hopefully the EU will see him for what he is and disregard his views

immigration overall should be about equality not slave labour a skilled immigrant can live anywhere in the world and that will never change

a unskilled immigrant should be treated the same as how they would be treated in their own country and if they take a slave type job then they should have the same rights as there fellow UK citizen worts and all

hopefully the EU will correct any procedures in going forward so that fairness is adopted at all times

The EU should also play a part in making sure that all of the EU governments have the right business opportunities on offer so that the further development of the EU countries allows for excellent growth in the poorer EU countries this in turn will mean that there will be good jobs available locally so the need to immigrate is not a high priority and overtime would balance out naturally

The only way Cameron can get round EU policies currently prohibiting his solutions is if he introduces his reforms to cover the domestic population as well – surely he wouldn’t do that, would he?
