John Prescott throws his weight behind Andy Burnham as party leader | Politics | The Guardian

Does anybody else have doubts about this? Look:

The former deputy prime minister says his choice shows many of the skills and qualities of Tony Blair.

Many may see any comparison with Blair as a reason not to support Burnham.

If Prescott is referring only to ability as a leader, without connecting Burnham to Blair’s policies, then he might have a point.

Burnham certainly has the makings of a Labour leader – if he throws out the New Labour dross and adopts an all-supportive, ‘True Labour’ style.

If Andy is take on the leadership of labour then he needs to understand how people think ?

This lecture will help him to understand this in full and should be seen by all who wish to be able to understand not only about the public and how they vote but also about themselves

On a personal note i found it spot on

Hang on! Let’s have some decorum here! John Prescott is a noble these days and not any longer one of us common folk. It’s Lord Prescott these days! LORD PRESCOTT! Do you hear me? Best include the honorific or Lady Prescott will do her nut!
