At risk of being accused of hypocrisy, This Writer has only one thing to say:

Why do the mass media keep offering the oxygen of publicity to these despotic dictators?

I’m not sure where the accusation of hypocrisy would come from, you’ve been fairly consistent in your antipathy to all things SNP.
I’d be more inclined to regard you these days as a bit “intellectually challenged”.
You are now attempting to fight a war on three fronts, against the Torys(naturally, they’re dicks), Most of the characters in the Labour leadership race(I also think that Jeremy Corbyn is a good guy), and of course the SNP.
    Something’s got to give
I’d suggest to you that it should be your antipathy to the SNP, as at least there is something that you could possibly do about the others; the only people that can get rid of the SNP are the Scottish electorate, and we are far from ready to do that, at this time.
I’ve been giving you good advice on this subject for quite some time now, without resorting to rudeness, unlike your good self.
It might be worthwhile starting to take some of it, while you still have a readership in Scotland.

The hypocrisy would lie in complaining about Sturgeon getting publicity – which is itself giving her publicity.
Your opinion is your own but if you read the rest of the blog at all, you’ll know you’re on a hiding to nothing if you question my intelligence.
I’m not fighting any wars at all; I just say what I see.
You are right that the Scottish electorate are the only people who can get rid of the SNP – but not for five more years, in the case of the Parliamentary party, and it seems likely that next year’s Holyrood elections will arrive too soon for the Westminster mob to have damaged their party’s reputation enough to make a dent in its electability. You’re basically stuffed until 2020.

I suspect we’ll be out of your “hair” by 2020 :)

          Is that a personal insult?
I suspect the SNP will be out of Parliament in 2020, certainly.

I honestly haven’t a clue what you’re saying here Mike. Politician appears on comedy chat show and cracks jokes with comedy host. Where do the “hypocracy” and “despotic dictator” come from?

The hypocrisy would have been mine – accusing people of giving her the oxygen of publicity is still giving her the oxygen of publicity.
The despotic dictator was Saddam Hussein. It’s all in the article.

If you meant that the despotic dictator was Saddam Hussein, I doubt if he’s too interested in the oxygen of publicity these days. I can only assume that you were referring to Sturgeon as such. You might not like her, or her party, but that’s a bit OTT, isn’t it?

      Nah.

        Weak. Very weak.

If that’s a comment on Sturgeon, you’re correct.
If it’s a reaction to the article, then you can hardly suggest that your own evidenceless words are strong.
