I’ve got what it takes to be PM, Corbyn tells his critics

Last Updated: September 26, 2015By

He says he wants to use the conference to persuade people “including those who are not Labour voters” he is offering “something very different”, including an alternative to austerity, which focuses on investment and expansion of the economy.

That is to say, the alternative focuses on investment and expansion of the economy. Austerity itself is all about cutting the amount of money available to the state and making it impossible to invest, expand the economy or provide help to those in need. What a shame the Grauniad couldn’t make that clear.

“I hope they will give me a fair hearing,” he says. “And I hope they will understand that I am the representative and the product of a growing democratic movement.”

Asked if he can see himself as prime minister he says: “That is five years down the line, but yes I could, and I think about the issues, the opportunities and the responsibilities that go with that of course.”

The “aspiring” zombie masses are greedy and superficial, getting one up on their neighbours and being told what to think by establishment media propaganda are all that matter.
That’s why unprincipled, gilded toffs, with their landed estates, inherited privileges, unearned wealth and air of superiority and entitlement, all dressed up in saville row, seem to have great appeal to a certain type of all too prevalent person, despite the blatant lies, failures, stupidity and pervasive corruption.
The people delivering the nasties to power don’t want to have to think independently. They just want to be told by the gutter media what they’re getting in exchange for an X, in quick, meaningless headlines and puerile soundbites before flicking to the all important celeb gossip and sport.
That’s why most modern leaders have been self serving spivs and crooks, richly rewarded for delivering an increasingly totalitarian, corporate sponsored, debt based, slavish society.
Far too many people in so called high places have their snouts wedged firmly in the trough and are making far too much money at everyone else’s expense to have that threatened.
That’s why Mr. Corbyn has an almighty, uphill battle to change a damned thing.
