David Cameron “made my blood boil” says single mum in PMQs’ row

Last Updated: October 15, 2015By

The single mum whose tax credits question shamed David Cameron at Prime Minister’s Questions has admitted the cuts have left her “terrified”.

Nursery manager Kelly Ward, 39, will be stripped of £1,800 a year in the Government’s £12billion social security assault.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn highlighted her plight when he faced the PM in the Commons.

And the Tory boss’s arrogant response “made my blood boil”, Kelly revealed, as she took apart his excuses one by one.

She is one of three million families whose lifeline will be hammered when the latest cuts bite in April.

“I want David Cameron to tell me why he thinks I’m better off and why me and my son going without stuff will help this country,” she fumed.

“He spouts off rubbish. He makes my blood boil. He says they’re a party for the working people; it’s a load of rubbish.

“I’m a working person and he’s not doing anything for me, absolutely nothing.”

The conservatives will protect their own ie the highly paid. He won’t tax the richest in the country any more; he would sooner make cuts to the lower paid. He has it all wrong, instead of giving aid out to other countries he should be looking after the people of Britain – using the money to invest in the NHS, making sure servicemen are not homeless after putting their lives on the line for this country, making food banks a thing of the past. Make sure you put your country first before helping other countries. Honestly he takes the Great out of Great Britain. We want our country back; we want to be proud to be British.

You have to wonder – don’t you? – why these Tories keep putting money into foreign countries…
Excellent last sentence, by the way. Labour should use that as an election slogan.

Although I don’t have a TV (that’s £145 saved) I watched Wed’s PMQs on catch-up. I was disgusted at that bunch of thugs and criminals sneering and smirking on Cameron’s front bench. All those little piggy eyes who can’t even look straight into someone else’s eyes.
