Terrorist attack on tube means Cameron has made the UK LESS safe

The UK has become less safe against Daesh/IS-related terrorist attacks after David Cameron was granted his wish to send warplanes to the organisation’s homeland in Syria.

At least, that’s the result for one UK citizen who suffered serious injuries in a knife attack at Leytonstone Tube station. The attacker is said to have shoute,d “This is for Syria”.

If it was a terrorist attack, if only on a small scale, then it has ruined the security services’ record of foiling attacks – seven are said to have been prevented in the last year.

The shouted words make a direct link between the knife attack and the decision to bomb Daesh in Syria. UK efforts in that respect have yet to harm any military target, despite two raids having taken place already.

Cameron’s claims have, so far, been wrong on every level.

Police were called to reports of people being attacked at Leytonstone around 19:00 GMT on Saturday. The knifeman reportedly shouted “this is for Syria”.

A man was arrested after being Tasered by police. One man suffered serious knife injuries while two others received minor injuries.

Metropolitan Police counter-terrorism detectives are investigating the case.

Downing Street said it was monitoring the situation closely.

The Met said the suspect was reportedly threatening other people with a knife.

Fellow passengers reportedly shouted at the man to drop his weapon and one person shouted “You ain’t no Muslim bruv,” a sentiment which has been picked up on social media by people trying to disown and sideline the attacker.

The bombing of Syria is all about “regime change”. Cameron and his equally obnoxious cohorts couldn’t care less about our security.

Here in Cardiff yesterday there was a stall on Queen Street (the main shopping centre) manned by people with leaflets etc explaining that Daesh and ‘fundamentalist’ terrorist elements have nothing to do with Islam and that the Muslim faith, like all major religions is a peaceful supportive and outreaching belief structure.

The people manning the stall were all apparently Muslim (judging by appearance – ok I know books/covers). Their message of brotherhood and peace was welcomed by many, but a few morons, mainly white, approached them and shouted at them apparently for being Muslims. These intolerant morons hadn’t taken the time to find out what the true message these young people were trying to pass on was but saw the colour and style etc and assumed the worst.

We have a problem in Cardiff as some of the high profile early recruits to Daesh came from here, but generally the local Muslim community who are strongly involved in local labour politics are horrified by what’s been happening in the so called caliphate.

It doesn’t help when the knee jerk reaction (emphasis on jerk) of some ignorant louts is to respond aggressively to people who are trying to contribute positively to improve inter community understanding.

Is it because I’ve been too busy to moderate so I’ve got a couple of hundred to get through?

I realise that I am going against flow in thinking that the attacker was more likely to be a dangerous fruit-loop who; for whatever reason chose to act in the way that he did, rather then the Forsythesque ” lone wolf renegade ” as some parts of the press have portrayed him. ( no-names, no-pack-drill as to which news groups I mean )
