MPs may be forced to debate – officially – banning Donald Trump from the UK

Last Updated: December 12, 2015By

The petition to ban Donald Trump from the UK has passed half a million signatures in only a few days. It is clear that it enjoys huge public support.

The Conservative Government must now decide if it can weather the storm that would follow a decision that appears to admit that Tories support his views.

Bear in mind that this Tory Government has more – and closer – similarities with the Nazi Party under Hitler than any other UK government. Supporting Trump’s xenophobia may be the final link for a UK public that is already utterly sick of Tory discrimination.

just days after Suzanne Kelly’s e-petition went live on the parliament’s website, it has already surpassed the 100,000 signatures mark, which means MPs now have to consider debating the issue in the House of Commons.

The petition was set up on hate speech grounds in response to Trump’s call for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S., and it gained even more traction after he outrageously claimed that UK capital London is “so radicalised the police are afraid for their own lives”.

You can add your own name here, by the way.

According to the BBC, Home Secretary Theresa May can ban an individual from the UK if she considers their presence is “not conducive to the public good or if their exclusion is justified on public policy grounds”. In recent years the UK has barred entry to the American rapper Tyler the Creator and anti-mosque campaigner Pamela Geller, among others.

I have got a strong feeling that petitions will be shortly going the same way as efforts to severely restrict Freedom of Information questions…..Government does not like being poked.

That’s really interesting… worth an article if I can wade through all the Daily Heil rhetoric.

I don’t look at the Daily Mail if I can help it and the comments after its article reminded me why. What a bunch of morons. Now I also know how the Tories got back into government.

Donald Trump is an elitist the same as Cameron and co and with luck Donald Trump will expose elitists like himself on the right wing who think like him but keep their mouths shut

Donald Trump is popular with a lot of people who share his views in private but not in public

over the coming months you will see the odd slip up on the right who share his views i’m sure
