Anti-Corbyn humour rears its head! But is it funny?
Thanks to John D Turner for this, even if he meant it in a critical way.
The fact is, this kind of joke only works if the material is accurate; we laugh because it’s funny and we laugh because it’s true.
How many supporters of Jeremy Corbyn have you seen blaming anything on “the working class not appreciating the wonders of New, New Labour” or “the CIA”, for goodness’ sake?
If this anti-Corbyn wishlist is the worst that will come his way, This Writer will be very surprised.
As a first attempt it is a failure because, in the current political climate, those who mock Corbyn are laughing at the expense of the whole of the United Kingdom.
How many Corbynettes does it take to replace a light bulb?
One. One to give the light bulb a talking to about how Jeremy won 59.5% (of 76.3% of a selectorate) so the bulb cannot be broken!!!
And, anyway, if the bulb is broken then it has to be the fault of neo-liberalism; the Tory Party; the mainstream media; Blair; the EU; Brown; Corbyn being insufficiently left wing; the working class not appreciating the wonders of New, New Labour; the CIA …

It isn’t funny. The focus should be on the utter disgrace the Tories are displaying to the rest of the world.
Talking of changing light bulbs, perhaps the name of David Willetts ought to be mentioned. He’s the corrupt Tory character who employed an electrician to change his household light bulbs, and then charged the bill to the taxpayer.
A very laboured attempt at humour. About as funny as piles.
Ah but piles can be funny… Imagine IDS with infected piles instant amusement!
(No i don’t wish them on him it’s a joke.)
“Yaaawwnnnn “
If that’s ‘humour’, it sounds like an Islington attempt at humour. I won’t repeat it, or it’s source, at the pub on Saturday, you have my word. There; I’ve done Labour a favour.
Islington humour anti-Corbyn? Well, I suppose there must be some people there who don’t like him.
