This was a joy to see.

At a time when everybody’s just a little too uptight about upsetting people from other religions, Frankie Boyle put it all in perspective with his observation about Britain First’s Paul Golding.

It won support from guest panellist Adil Ray, who also played on the misapprehensions held about Muslims by people like Britain First’s supporters by saying: “There are 1.6 billion Muslims. I’ve spoken to all of them before coming on the show…” and then expressing an opinion.

Frankie himself has been accused of racism in the past.

Speaking at the High Court, where he was suing the Daily Mirror for libel, he said: “I think it is a top down thing. I think you have a lot of rich and Conservative people who control our country who are racist and their views trickle down through things like tabloid papers.”

Paul Golding’s “pathetic” protest against Sadiq Khan has been granted the honour of being so bad it was taken apart by Frankie Boyle on ‘Have I got News For You‘.

Boyle said: “There was quite a sad moment where Paul Golding, who’s the head of Britain First, he turned his back on Sadiq Khan during his acceptance speech.

“I thought it’d be good if he’d accidentally turned to face Mecca.”

I like Frankie Boyle, he is controversial but he has a spine and what he says is true!
