Cameron says he has no secret ‘Brexit’ agenda. Who cares?

The EU referendum is not about what David Cameron wants.

It is about what the people of the UK want.

Their decision should be based on the most accurate information possible about the benefits the UK derives from its EU membership, and any advantages that are lost to this country as a result of the same.

David Cameron’s personal opinions are irrelevant.

By far the more interesting aspect of this Independent story is the coded communique from the G7 leaders, saying Brexit could interfere with “trade” and “investment”.

Now, what other current issue uses those words in its title?

Could it be that these G7 leaders are trying to TTIP the balance of opinion?

David Cameron has said he is not a “closet Brexiteer” as leaders of the G7 warned the UK’s exit from the EU would pose a ‘serious risk’ to growth.

Speaking at the end of the G7 summit in Japan, the Prime Minister welcomed a communique by the assembled leaders pointing to “economic dangers” of a vote by Britain to leave the EU.

And he flatly denied a claim by his old friend and former adviser Steve Hilton that his natural instinct was to vote for Out.

Brexit was ranked alongside “escalated geopolitical conflicts, terrorism and refugee flows” as one of the main reasons global growth could be “below potential” at the summit.

“UK exit from the EU would reverse the trend toward greater global trade, investment and the jobs they create and is a further serious risk to growth,” the agreed statement warned.

Cameron called this referendum as he keeps his promises and had kept the far right at bay in his party by promising this. Having promoted IDS, Dr Fox etc and dragging it out a bit he waited till the lib dems went, got the scots to stay with us(they have more to gain in the EU ) and waited till he put through one of the most negative budgets ever. I reckon The right were getting restless and he would have held out longer if he could.

Cameron only keeps the promises he wants to keep.
      The others get buried.
Where’s his promised White Paper on supporting disabled people into employment? He made a big deal of it before the State Opening of Parliament but it wasn’t in the Queen’s Speech and there are no plans for it in the future.
Your comments about Cameron promoting IDS and Liam Fox, about Scotland and recent budgets are without context; I do not see how they support your argument. In fact, they make it hard to understand what your argument is.

I suppose growth to them, the elite, is all about the god profit and making sure their industries and financial houses screw as much profit for themselves out of the trough. Many of these international companies do not even contribute the proper tax to the countries, they operate from, one can quite see that growth to them is pure untaxed profit. Unfortunately the plebs will see little improvement to their lifestyles from the lacklustre efforts of countries leaders, tame tax regimes and offshore hideaways sneaking profits away. The rank ‘n file will continue to pay their tax dues straight out of their payroll…..as usual.
