Activists campaigning for the UK to leave the European Union had a shock … when their official ‘battle bus’ was given a parking ticket.
The distinctive, red Vote Leave vehicle was parked on one of the main roads through Harrogate town centre while activists handed out flyers.
Sign-carrying supporters of the leave campaign had barely been gone for half an hour when the vehicle received the ticket from a council parking enforcer on West Park, overlooking the Stray by Bettys.

oh so funny, should have arranged for it to be towed away, no doubt this was done by a oversealous traffic warden, wonder what there argument will be for not trying to pay the fine or will they waste public money fighting it in court, they may not win in a english court so i suppose they could always take it to a european court to argue there case pmsl
No probs…..just one more to join the millions of others who are getting screwed by destitute councils….. that’s without the over zealous speeding rackets springing up out of every drainhole.
This here just emphasises what a joke Johnson really is!
