Brexit supporters call Jo Cox murder “left wing false flag” and blame “lying Muslims” | Pride’s Purge

Last Updated: June 21, 2016By

Some of you may have noticed these pages have been quiet for the past few days; I have been busy co-running the Radnor Fringe Festival, which celebrates the culture of Mid Wales.

But now I’m back, and I see that very little has changed in the days of my absence.

So I’m resuming where I left off, with an article I had intended to post on Friday, showing either the blinkered attitude of right-wing Brexiteers, or their intent to mislead the rest of us deliberately.

Here’s Tom Pride:

Jo Cox RIP. This is so so sad.

Labour MP and remain campaigner Jo Cox has died after being shot and stabbed outside her surgery. Jo’s attacker allegedly shouted “Britain First” before launching his vicious attack.

Already tinfoil hat Brexit campaigners* are calling this appalling murder a “false flag”:

160621 false flag 1
160621 false flag 2

Thoughts are with Jo’s family.

*I’ve deliberately not bothered to blank out the twitter identities of these sick people, so if you’re on Twitter, please feel free to tell them what you think of their disgusting comments.

What’s the history/social circumstances of the person that committed the act.

So what are you saying MIKE!

Anyone who voices concerns this may be a false flag incident is Sick!!!

It is widely known and proven that governments use False Flags events for their own ends…. Always have done and will no doubt continue to do so… Proving them is another story… but history has confirmed this is the case….

I am not suggesting for one minute that Joe Cox’s death was linked to such psychological warfare, however. We may never know whether there is any truth in the thought.

Im getting a bit worried for you as your posts of late are losing their objectivity.

We still have freedom of speech in Uk, and also freedom of thought.

Surely the day is not yet here when people cannot voice a thought, a point of view without being labelled as SICK…

You appear to be putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with a whole lot of hate with no evidence to back it up, only your own subjective suspicions and bias.

roll on next week, perhaps we can all return to some relative sanity.

Do you expect this comment to be taken seriously?
Look at the tweets that are featured in the article. Look at the sentiments expressed in them. The hatred that is there in front of you.
Jack Buckby attacks a first-hand account of the shooting because the man who gave it was called Aamir Tahir. “Attempted false flag, BF stupidity or lying Muslim?” he writes. That’s a clear expression of racial hatred.
All the others were claiming it was a false flag attack – with no evidence. Trying to create hate against the ‘Remain’ campaign.

Yes, we do have freedom of speech in the UK – but that doesn’t mean anyone can say anything that comes into their heads.
Claims such as those made in the tweets featured here require evidence to support them.
      Where is it?

        Mike

Have you spoken to Aamir Tahir. An LBC reporter has – and Aamir Tahir has said he did not make any such comment about “Britain first”.

        See this link here:

I understood claims that he withdrew his statement were untrue.
In any case, I hope you’re not going to deny the suspect’s words in court. Asked his name, he said, “Death to traitors; put Britain first.”

      • Flags Up June 21, 2016 at 9:26 pm - Reply

        NOT “PUT BRITAIN FIRST”

According to the BBC and The Guardian, the suspect said in court, when asked for his name: “Death to traitors, freedom for Britain” – no mention at all about Britain First or Put Britain First!

Is the poster displayed in the window a hoax? Is the LBC reporter a liar? Is it all another round of Hillsborough style lies?

          You’re splitting hairs, aren’t you?
Why did he not simply give his name, rather than shout a right-wing slogan?
Come to that, why haven’t you given a name, rather than a pseudonym accompanied by a fake email address?
Are you a member of Britain First?

      • Flags Up June 22, 2016 at 7:54 am - Reply

No, Mike, I’m not a member of Britain First, or any other extreme right wing party. Your question, like the tone of this debate, is hysterical.

There are now numerous conflicting accounts of the words that were (or were not) used – including your own contribution. That casts doubt on the whole matter.

Time to cool down and stop playing party politics with the tragic murder of Jo Cox.

My question was reasonable in the light of your comments. Read them back if you disagree.
My own contribution, as you describe it, was based on reports at the time of the incident. If you’re referring to the court appearance, I was paraphrasing and was happy to be corrected.
It is indeed time to cool down and stop playing party politics. I’m not going to stop what I’m doing, though.

Yes, I was wondering where you’d got to Mike, until I saw your replies to previous posts!
In response to “please feel free to tell them what you think of their disgusting comments”, what’s the point? I’ve tried that one already, but all you get back is a load of abuse!
The number of tweets I see that are either being sarcastic towards JC, or taking the p*ss, or where they clearly haven’t been listening to what he’s been saying properly(possibly because they don’t want to?), is quite a few, I can tell you!
Times like that, I really do wonder where the human race is going!

What else would you expect from right wingers, compassion, common sense, intelligence, that’s not the right wing way, lie about any tragedy to suit their own cause!
