Good. The sooner, the better.

A group of senior MPs is calling for a vote to decide whether Tony Blair is guilty of contempt of Parliament over his decision to invade Iraq in 2003.

Conservative David Davis said he will present the motion on Thursday accusing the former PM of misleading Parliament.

Meanwhile, John Prescott, the then deputy prime minister, said he now believed the invasion was “illegal”.

Mr Blair has apologised for mistakes he made but has said he stands by his decision and “there were no lies”.

I wonder whether his mate George Dubya has assured him that “I’m with you, whatever”?

If George Bubya has given him any such assurance, or even if there is any suspicion of it, then Bliar should be held on remand as a clear flight risk.

i hope tony Blair gets prosecuted and although that may not happen a private one none the less could take place

IDS with the many hundreds of death’s of the sick and disabled also should be facing criminal charges and if i were a mp that is what i would be working on day in day out

IDS is lucky but for how long ? yes he has stood down but it only takes one mp to hold him to account if needed and to work on it by continually exposing these deaths so that the public fully understand on what has been going on

as we have just seen john Prescott on TV with the Iraq war he was not aware of the full picture and for some reason was not involved in the main talks of that war

what it highlights is that you only need a odd prime minister that although seamed ok on the surface all was not well

Having a so called friend like George bush was Blair’s downfall and in reality would have been most prime ministers downfall

The Iraq war was very simple and had any other president been in office that war would never have taken place

Donald trump is in the same mold as bush so it’s vital he does not become the next president of the USA

There were lies and plenty of them as was demonstrated by the leaked communiques between Bush and Blair.

Unless Blair is forced to hand over his huge fortune to the families who lost their men or the now ex soldiers who been thrown to the jobcentre “wolves”, then what does it matter?, so he loses his position, again, so what? it is nothing but a farce because no-one has the balls to properly hold him, and his lackeys accountable!!!

Fat Git Prescott should also lose everything he owns and be held accountable!!!

Yawn. Note how Chilcot’s 2.6 million words faded from public consciousness within about 24 hours of their publication. Let’s move on from all this obsession about Iraq and focus on making Labour electable once again.

Blair won’t be impeached. It is a fantasy. MPs won’t vote for it because of the harm it would do to Parliament, irrespective of their views. Blair will get away free. The ICC say they have no powers to bring a case against him. The only resort would be private civil action by families which would almost certainly fail. The sooner is forgotten and lessons learnt the better.

He and his stupid chimp mate should be both done for what they did but they won’t, evil always gets away with it!
