If Jeremy Corbyn has a ‘paranoid bunker mentality’, he’ll need a very big bunker

Critics of Mr Corbyn have claimed that he is afraid to debate the issues surrounding the leadership election with Mr Smith – preferring to attend the Liverpool rally instead of a televised debate on Channel 4. They said he had a “paranoid bunker mentality”.
Even if that were true, it seems he’ll need a very big bunker to accommodate all the Labour members and supporters who’ll happily share it with him – the size of yesterday’s crowds prove it.
And isn’t that the real issue here?
Considering the size of the crowd, is it not possible that Mr Corbyn’s political enemies simply didn’t want him speaking before such large numbers of people – especially in Liverpool, where Mr Smith flopped so recently?
It sends a highly visual message regarding the popularity of the two candidates.
