It seems the Labour Party’s organisers have made yet another cock-up over the leadership election.

They have scheduled the announcement of the winner to take place on September 24 – the same day as the Labour Party Women’s Conference.

Why?

Surely they must have had it in their diaries already?

Mr Corbyn has written to Iain McNicol, the party’s now-overworked general secretary (all of his own making, unfortunately!) asking for the leadership announcement to be moved forward, to September 23.

Here’s the text of his letter:

That letter must be a forgery, Jeremy is a misogynist so we are told, so why should he give two hoots about the women’s conference.

Who on Earth told you that? Let’s have names and links to source material.

It’s always good to try and make the meaning of posts clear, particularly as nods, winks and smiles are not available options, but I suspect Fido was being ironic.
I’d also recommend the letter’s contents for use as a template for how to set out a polite, reasoned argument, but with a touch of irony – in that it implies, how did you miss this important conference.
