Witless Tory MP campaigns against local NHS closures he voted for himself | Pride’s Purge

Last Updated: September 20, 2016By

Tom Pride is on a roll at the moment. Here’s another gem from Pride’s Purge:

Hardline Thatcherite Tory MP for Shrewsbury Daniel Kawczynski is up in arms about plans for his local NHS A&E to close:

Bit cheeky. Because block-headed Kawczynski has consistently voted for the very NHS reforms which are leading to the A&E closure he’s now complaining about:

A word of advice to Shrewsbury voters who are also up in arms about the closures.

You get what you vote for …

What yet another Tory rat dancing to the party piper and sod his voters??
So his “up in arms” in his terms really means his arms are waving in the air overjoyed at yet another potential NHS closure for his beloved Tory party.

I suspect his protest are more about his own image with his constituents than they are about wanting a decent NHS for everyone in society.

We’ve had this going on for ages in Carshalton with a LibDem MP (the only one who survived the general election in London) having supported the Health and Social Care Act allowing the Tories to do their worst, then having to try to defend local hospitals from merger, complete or partial closure or at least loss of services.
They think we were born yesterday.

which goes to show that tory mp’s do not know what they’re voting for, do i have any sympathy for this mp, no, do i have sympathy for people of Shrewsbury yes, hopefully some of these bright spark expert Mp’s will remember how they vote on decisions that affect people and will also reflect on how people vote for them and show them the door accordingly. A tory Mp or any Mp that thinks their vote for issues that toe a party line but not necessarily hold the views of the people that vote for them in the first place deserves to be voted against at local level and stuck back in their hutch where they truly belong and if their party politics does not start to grow up and listen to people, then it is time for change of government and regulations, some of which should include Mp’s and Ministers Carrying responsibility for their decisions instead of the current system of make a serious mistake and get away with it.

My MP stated that he would not support a proposal on the basis it went against his religious beliefs….not what his constituents wanted, but his personal religious belief. However he still voted against the proposal instead of doing the right thing and not voting.
