This, from Political Scrapbook:

Nigel Farage never misses an opportunity to crow about Brexit.

And he did so again today regarding the U.S. elections.

[Here’s the response he got:]

Nigel Farage and his kind managed to persuade a tiny majority of voters (but only around a quarter of the UK population) to support leaving the EU, based on claims about the European Union’s past behaviour and about the assumed benefits of leaving.

But it seems history and fact were never Nigel’s strong points.

Well garage didn’t need to persuade the majority of the people who chose to vote, we all knew that being in the eu was not a good thing for the UK, and the government backed lies misdirections and propaganda thankfully failed to scare enough people to vote to stay in the corruption ridden democratically deficient eu, although those who would create a post democratic world disagree with the democratic outcome of course.

No, we didn’t all know that being in the EU was bad for the UK. How is it bad for us? And the economic pre-shocks that we’ve had since the EU referendum vote – how are they good for us?
You mention government-backed lies, misdirections and propaganda – what about the Leave lies, for which the campaign is currently being taken to court?
And what does any of this have to do with Nigel Farage’s stupidity in mentioning Brexit in connection with the US Presidential election?

Farage is too big for his boots and his ego outstrips his intelligence by a long way.
