Columnist Dan Hodges humiliated by Wikipedia founder over Mail ban

Last Updated: February 11, 2017By

Please forgive This Writer for a moment of schadenfreude at the expense of the person mentioned in this Political Scrapbook article.

He tried to cause Vox Political some discomfort last summer and fell flat on his backside. It seems some people never learn.

The Daily Mail columnist Dan Hodges wasn’t a happy bunny [on February 9]. But the day got progressively worse. It all kicked off when the Guardian broke the story that Wikipedia editors had now deemed the Daily Mail as an “unreliable source” for stories.

That irked its columnist Dan Hodges, who tweeted:

which got a reply from Political Scrapbook editor:

and then a debate ensued…

At which point it becomes clear that Dan Hodges hadn’t even bothered to look into the controversy he was complaining about.

Because the founder of Wikipedia himself weighed in…

It’s almost like Daily Mail columnists have little idea of the subject they’re complaining about.

No wonder Wikipedia editors are banning them
