It’s been a shocking week for the Tories. Why are we letting them stay in charge?

Last Updated: March 17, 2017By

A while ago, This Site published an article on ‘The Week in Toryland’, to show how awful the Conservative Government is on a day-to-day basis. I should have kept it going as a regular thing because they haven’t got any better.

So kudos to Rachael Swindon for the image above, which should be shared everywhere as a reminder of the blundering stupidity of the Tory toffocracy.

Why do you talk like it is our fault, like we have a choice? We don’t!!!! You might have some power being a journalist but I have none! I never voted for these criminals never ever!!!

If I had the power or the right I would put Corbyn in as PM and give him a chance!!!

I didn’t talk about it at all, and certainly not like it was anybody’s fault.
Everybody has the ability to demand a vote of no confidence in an administration/representative – and if enough people do it, the authorities still have to pay attention.

I didn’t mean my comment to sound in anyway confrontational Mike but I feel more and more disillusioned every day.
I can’t use Facebook or twitter because I am too fearful of both of them.

Your’s and your brothers sites are the only ways I Now know what is going on I don’t watch any news channels or read papers because I can’t figure out what is true or false.

Agree, but we must also campaign to all the back-biting Labour MPs about their leader. Stand by Corbyn now.

The reason the Tories are still in charge is mainly due to apathy on the part of the general public. We need to find a way of publicizing VOX on a much wider scale. Twitter is fine and very useful but I suspect that there are millions of people who don’t use it.

Yes. Please publicise http://voxpoliticalonline.com everywhere and in every way possible!
Plenty of vested interests are sure working hard to suppress me.

    Mike.

If a majority of voters prefer the Conservatives to Labour, now, with everything falling apart and going wrong, what does that say about the way Labour is regarded these days by the electorate? I keep hearing pundits on TV saying all the time that the government has no opposition and the Mr Corbyn is not holding the government to account. Something is very, very wrong and if Labour doesn’t win next time or at least get rid of the Tory majority God knows what will happen.

Seriously: If Labour are not pulling ahead now when will they pull ahead?

Bad press and opposition to the Labour leadership internally can’t explain this.

The party seems to be flailing about ineffectively while sinking slowly in quicksand.

    • Mike Sivier March 17, 2017 at 8:35 pm - Reply

Yes, bad press and internal opposition CAN explain it.
You yourself just quoted TV pundits making evidenceless claims to persuade the public – and you do seem to have been persuaded, don’t you?

I would vote for anybody likely to get rid of my Tory MP, bar nutter candidates from UKIP and such like. To me, now, Labour doesn’t look set to oust the Conservatives from office.

We have no say in the country it belongs to the tory party

Why did “we” let them in charge in the first place and why do “we” keep putting them in charge? Time and again the Tories have shown their utter contempt for the people of this country and their ineptitude seems to know no bounds! Incompetence extraordinaire!

  9. Barry Davies March 17, 2017 at 12:27 pm - Reply

Unfortunately we are not letting them stay in charge, because although we are a democracy we have to wait till the next election when most will no doubt still vote for the same mp they voted for last time.

Because Labour’s in shambles, full of closet tories and Corbyn’s not tough enough to go head to head with them and that the British public are apathetic, spineless and as thick as cow****!

Who are the “we”? How to we get rid of them? Perhaps for once Farage has the right idea by suggesting that May calls a GE. Not for his reason ie because of the Electoralc Commisions £70,000 fine – but because it is the only democratic way of hopefully getting rid of her and her Cabinet of Millionaires.
