What an amazing young lady who wiped the floor with Adam Bolton who had to refer to notes in his questioning. whereas Ms Champion didn’t need notes for give her straight forward replies verbatim with grace and conviction. She makes me feel even prouder to be Labour than I thought possible.

It’s a thought. I might have a bit more time for it in the future, too…

Nice video, personally to me this election seems a foregone conclusion, like every other one of the past 10 years. Don’t you think it’s about time people such as yourself, with a considerable platform and reach, begin to suggest more radical means of resisting the Conservatives?
When the inevitable happens I worry that everyone will just carry on like normal, as they have in America under Trump, and as they have for the past few years as disabled, unemployed & disadvantaged people have suffered horribly?

    • Mike Sivier May 10, 2017 at 11:09 am - Reply

At the moment, there is only one radical means of resisting the Conservatives, and that is to vote Labour on June 8.

Finally, a platform for a £abour politician who speaks true to speak it! With more opportunities and decent politicians like this, Jeremy Corbyn might have a chance to be heard by the masses! Well done that woman! If only more would do what she did!

Mrs May looks like a bumbling nincompoop compared to Ms Champion, who does not resort to the useless, name-calling tactics used by pretty well all Tory sympathisers!

I also can’t see the video, when I google it I get this message that says content has been removed: and a link to this:
    https://www.google.co.uk/policies/faq/
It seems someone has perhaps asked for the content to be removed? And the video is no longer available. Google must have moved fast if that is the case…I wonder who might have been anxious to remove it so quickly?! Is there another copy of the interview which can be uploaded?

Are you pressing the pic with the play button? Works every time for me and anyway, it’s on sky news. Search Sarah Champion. A good politician for a change. This is the sort of mp that will get Labour some votes. They need to push her forward and ditch some of the London centric dross who can’t cope with interviews.

Well done but I am just not convinced…if I were to be persuaded that I wouldn’t be wasting my vote if i voted Labour I’d vote Labour in a heartbeat but…..I re-iterate, I am just not convinced about Jeremy Carbine even though Sarah Chapman is good she’s not THAT good and she is not the whole of the Party…-more’s the pity?

    • Mike Sivier May 12, 2017 at 12:01 pm - Reply

That’s Jeremy Corbyn and Sarah Champion. The fact that you intentionally misspelled their names suggests you are a troll, but I’ll answer anyway.
A vote for the Conservatives is a wasted vote. All it will provide is more oppression of the weak, vulnerable, the poor, the sick and the old, while the very rich reap the profits. The UK economy has already been sent straight to hell – Philip Hammond’s last budget was all about who gets the scraps. A vote for the Liberal Democrats is pointless because they will never have enough MPs to form their own government and would go back to coalition with the Tories in a heartbeat. A vote for UKIP is utterly pointless because the Tories have taken over all that party’s policies (as was always intended).

The only party worth voting for, if you want a fairer, more just country to inhabit, is Labour.

And if you don’t believe me, read the manifesto. It’s been leaked all over the place!

What a clever woman. Fat cat businesses are hiding their profits off shore to avoid paying tax so let’s increase the rate of corporation tax that they’re not paying. Brilliant.

    • Mike Sivier May 15, 2017 at 6:42 pm - Reply

Yes indeed, a clever woman. You, however, seem unaware that Labour will clamp down hard on tax avoidance, meaning that they WILL pay their corporation tax.

Would never vote Labour, but this woman is truly a jewel in the labour crown when compared to her vacuous colleagues e,g. Abbott, Mcdonald et al.
Had to smile on the irony though when she said we will deal with the ‘facts’ and not ‘vacant slogans’ whilst standing in front of the vacant labour slogan ‘for the many not the few’
They are all cut from the same cloth !!

    • Mike Sivier May 17, 2017 at 9:40 am - Reply

What do you think of the vacant Conservative slogan “strong and stable”?
For that matter, what do you think of the vacant Conservative leader, Theresa May?
And how about the fact that none of Mrs May’s colleagues seem capable of doing any campaigning?
