Tories exposed in outright – scaremongering – lie about Labour tax plans

Last Updated: May 25, 2017By

This is conclusive, from the Independent:

The Conservatives have accused Labour of planning to raise income tax on millions of low- to middle-income earners in order to fund care for the elderly.

Is the Conservatives’ claim true?

No – it’s completely false. Labour has repeatedly promised not to raise income tax on anyone earning less than £80,000, which includes everyone in the 20p tax band that the Tories claim Mr Corbyn and Mr McDonnell want to raise.

Of course, all parties have at times broken their manifesto pledges. There is nothing, though, to suggest that Labour currently has any intention of increasing income tax on low or middle-income earners to pay for social care – or, for that matter, for anything else.

Vote Labour on June 8 – for honest politics.

Lies and smears the only weapons the tories can use as the truth is an alien concept to them! I can’t wait to see their faces when they loose!

Please explain what you mean. If you are implying that the Conservative are honest, I suggest that you look at history; you won’t have to look very far. The Conservatives’ track record speaks for itself. Whether, or not, you agree with, or like £abour, you cannot, in all consciousness, or seriousness believe that the Conservatives will help anybody who isn’t loaded. Think of this exercise like a crime scene; follow the evidence and you will find your murderer.
By the way, that last statement is not rhetorical; follow the evidence. I would be interested to know what you conclude.

Ian Hatch… dont talk rot. labour members/voters are not gullible. they care. which is more than you tories do. and Mike i doubt anyone could find anything polite to say to those who allow people to be sent so low they commit suicide. or have to live on the streets because they cant afford to live in a house. like someone i was friends with who came out with vile comments about me and mine( he is an out and out racist and self confessed Ukipper).. all tarred with same inhumane brush…)no he no longer is a friend)

Ian Hatch, in answer to your stupid remarks, Cameron said there would be no top down reorganisation of the NHS before the election in 2010, can you think of a bigger lie than that.

Or perhaps I could help you out again, the lying BBC say that the Tories are not privatising the NHS.

Need I remind you of the Libdems promise not to raise Tuition fees.

UKIP and Boris Johnson said they would spend Britain’s weekly contribution to Europe on the NHS, only to renege on the promise within 24 hours of winning the referendum.

Are we getting the picture now?

If I remember rightly, it’s the Tories who have refused to confirm that they won’t raise VAT and National Insurance. These are taxes which will also hit the very poorest. Labour have insisted they will only increase taxes on those earning over £80.000.

Lies cheating and outright fraud – it’s all the Tories know.

The definitive Tory tax always has been VAT, first imposed by Ted Heath’s Tory government. It’s a tax that hits the poor hardest, often the wealthy buy everyday items via some spurious home-based “business” and then claim back any VAT paid and who have ready access to skilled (= bent) VAT accountants. A regressive tax the poor can’t avoid but one the wealthy can easily evade.

The UK Tory Oligarchy are an evil bunch of lying misanthropes – they just don’t care, and they don’t even care that we know they don’t care!
