Wouldn’t you say laying the UK open to terror attacks was naughtier than running through a field, Mrs May?

Last Updated: June 6, 2017By

What an astonishing display of ignorance. In an interview, Theresa May has claimed the naughtiest thing she ever did was run through a wheat field without permission:

‘Scarlet’ hits the nail on the head. What about cutting the police by 20,000, rendering the UK susceptible to terrorist attack? Isn’t that – at least a little – naughty?

The public response was – well:

Her claim only confirms the thesis put forward by Emily Morgan in an ITV report (clip now unavailable, sorry) – that Mrs May’s electoral strategy has contracted to the point that she is reduced to repeating her failed claims about Brexit negotiations and strong leadership, but cannot answer any questions on the top news story of the day: National security.

So let’s put an end to at least one of her party’s claims – that Jeremy Corbyn is unfit to lead because he opposed anti-terror legislation.

It turns out Theresa May has opposed almost as many anti-terror laws as Mr Corbyn!

The only one she supported was her own law changing control orders to so-called TPIMs (and we’ve been told these are far less successful than the system they replaced):

And, as you’ve just heard, Jeremy Corbyn hasn’t backtracked on his opposition to a “shoot to kill” policy; he merely seeks “proportionate” responses to any threat.

All things considered, it is clear that, after starting her ‘snap’ election campaign from a position of towering strength, Mrs May has been reduced, in only a few short weeks, to a figure of mockery.

This video is a classic example:

Could anyone vote for this failure on Thursday?

No, thank you. We’ll all vote Labour instead.

talking about her being naughty is a bit of an insult to all those who have died during these past seven years! She should be put on trial along with all her other lackeys past and present!!!

Well in truth if you look at it objectively running through a wheat field is deliberate damage to someone else’s property, an offence. Cutting the numbers of police may not be sensible, but as it was done legally it is not an offence so clearly the criminal damage was naughty chopping jobs is not.
