For Theresa May, is sucking up to the Saudis more important than human lives?

Outrage is the right response to Theresa May’s refusal to publish a report on foreign funding of extremist groups in the UK.

We need to know the source of the money – in full, not an abridged, “oh, it’s mostly from the UK” fluff.

If it’s because one of those sources is Saudi Arabia, Mrs May’s major Middle-Eastern client, then we need to know that. And she needs to cut off her business ties.

Ah, but it’s all about the money for the Maybot, isn’t it?

Here‘s how the Daily Mirror tackled the story:

Theresa May has buried a long-awaited report that’s feared to expose Saudi funding of British extremism for ‘national security reasons’.

There is an outcry after Home Secretary Amber Rudd confirmed the Prime Minister had blocked the report – instead publishing a brief summary that claims most terror funding comes from within the UK.

The report was commissioned by David Cameron in 2015 and was widely expected to embarrass Britain’s Saudi allies.

Peter Stefanovic nails our concerns in this Facebook post:

And Diane Abbot, responding to the decision not to publish the extremism funding report in full, makes the only solution perfectly clear.

So how about it, Mrs May?

It’s only another U-turn, after all!

I suppose this is a case of “birds of a feather” – all nasties together.

So I presume not one penny of tax payers money went into producing this report if the Government can dictate the restrictive access to the information….or produce fake news from one of its tame chimps producing a watered down version for public and media consumption. If one penny of tax payers money paid for this report it should be fully available to the tax payers of this country without any Cons edits.

Not to put too fine a point on it, the view from the grass roots is that as the terrorists “only” attack the general population and not the well protected establishment, and that being the case world wide, terrorism – like poverty – is very much something they are unlikely to suffer from as individuals. In the western world they are also not concerned as long as there is no chance they will face an occupying force of the caliphate.

I am sure that the authoritarian May worries more about being forced to retain our commitment to human rights, rather than our own or others lack of them.

What a contrast against May’s recent statement promising to assist a world initiative to eliminate the funding of terrorism. Worse than empty words, an outright lie that assists the concealment of funding, are they then not guilty of fouling their own anti terror legislation!
