Knockback for Tories who are still trying to justify their rubbish budget

No doubt Michael Gove will be along shortly to talk about “fake opinions” or some similar nonsense, after the kicking delivered to the Conservatives over their latest self-justifying foray into the social media.

The following tweet was issued by the Conservative Party’s press office:

“Dealing with our debts to keep the econom strong, whilst investing in public services and keeping taxes low” is, of course, Labour’s approach – although Jeremy Corbyn’s party would achieve this by vastly different methods; effective methods.

The Tories behind their press release thought they could fool people into believing that they’re doing the right thing, just because they say they are.

They thought wrong – and the reactions are hilariously disparaging.

Haravikk is referring to a policy that David Cameron stole from George W Bush. It’s called starving the beast and intentionally creates debt in order to provide an excuse to take funds away from public services.
