Shameless Javid caught lying about homelessness

Sajid Javid: We don’t know what he was saying when this image was taken, but it may well have been a lie.

By now we should all know that Conservatives lie, but what a filthy, excremental example of that trait is epitomised in the form of Sajid Javid.

This verminous wretch knows very well that there is a debate over how best to solve the UK’s homelessness crisis – so he is trying to win the argument by lying to us and hoping nobody will bother to check the facts.

Well, tough.

Here’s his ridiculous claim:

And here are the facts of the matter:

You can see that it took Labour a few years to get to grips with the problem of homelessness left behind by the Conservative governments of Margaret Thatcher and John Major, but had managed to reduce it to less than one-third of its peak level by 2010, when they were removed from office in that year’s general election.

Since then, Tory policies have increased homelessness.

And scummy Javid is not only trying to say that Conservatives have cut homelessness; he’s trying to tell us that those who say otherwise – those presenting the facts – are the liars!

He was responding to a tweet claiming Tories have created more homelessness than ever before, and if we were being charitable, we could say that this has not happened since 2010 (although the Tories were certainly responsible for pushing homelessness to its height of nearly 140,000 in 2003. It doesn’t matter that Labour were in office; it takes years to turn these trends in the right direction).

Possibly most damning of all is the fact that Javid was following the example of that scummiest of all Tory liars – Theresa May.

She made exactly the same lying claim at Prime Minister’s Questions on December 13 – despite having been warned against it by the UK Statistics Authority.

Perhaps it’s time to contact the UKSA – not to mention the Commons Speaker’s office – and request action on this persistent and unrepentant determination to mislead both Parliament and the public.

UNINTENTIONAL HOMELESSNESS let me explain that. Many had to put up with severe hazardous housing conditions, abuse, harassment, sexual harassment and even assault by landlords or neighbours, no help but suggestion that if the situation was that bad they had to be willing to make themselves homeless, but if they did and left accomodation, no matter how bad they were deemed as having made themselves homeless.

all assault abuse harm done under landlords and by bad housing was deemed a civil offence not a criminal offence and tenants had to take complaint forward with great costs and little award usually £3000 and being evicted meanwhile.

anything can be manipulated and hide the real situation and costs

Can I please refer people to a petition and the official government response to same

“Make it illegal for any UK politician to lie or mislead the public.”

    https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/200372

The response starts “The 7 principles of public life apply to all those who hold public office and form the basis of ethical standards expected of holders of public office as set out in their respective Codes of Conduct.”

Another trick the tories use is to give housing benefit to claimants not directly to landlords, the claimants who are addicts are more likely to use the money for drugs and alcohol, this means they get evicted and loose their rights to housing! Great coming from people who claims for two homes.
